Privacy Policy
1. About this Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Jenzen Group and PAJET Pty Ltd ("we", "us") collect, use and protect your personal information in connection with the Southwark Square website (southwarksquare.com.au).
We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. What we collect
When you register your interest, we collect:
- Your name, first and last
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Postcode
- What you are interested in, being residential, commercial or partnership
- The page you submitted from, the site that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived on
- Your IP address, which we use to work out an approximate country and city, and your browser type
We also collect automatically, through Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel and Cloudflare:
- Browser type, device and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- The website that referred you
- An identifier stored in your browser, so a return visit can be recognised
This site carries no session-recording technology.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your registration and send you news about Southwark Square as it develops
- To contact you by email, phone or SMS
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram
- To meet our legal obligations
4. Who we share it with
Your registration is shared with:
- Cluse & Co Pty Ltd, for marketing support and website operation
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site and stores the enquiry database
- Google, for analytics, and Google Sheets, where the enquiry log is kept for the people managing the project
- Meta, for advertising
- Resend, which delivers the notification email
We do not sell or rent your information to anybody.
5. Measuring our advertising
When you register, our server also records the registration with Google Analytics and with Meta.
- The record sent to Google Analytics lets us count registrations accurately when a browser blocks analytics. It carries no name, email or phone number.
- The record sent to Meta lets Meta match the registration to a Facebook or Instagram account. It carries your email address, phone number and name, each in hashed form. Hashed means scrambled by a one-way process before it leaves our server. It also carries your IP address, your browser details and Meta's browser identifiers. Meta compares the hashed details with the same hashed details of its own users.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel. They set these cookies in your browser:
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Tells one browser's visits apart from another's | About 13 months |
_ga_47E33XGRC7 | Google Analytics 4 | Keeps track of your current visit | About 13 months |
_fbp | Meta Pixel | Recognises your browser so Meta can measure our ads, and show our ads to people who have visited this site | 90 days |
_fbc | Meta Pixel | Records the Facebook or Instagram ad you clicked, only if you arrived from one | 90 days |
The Meta Pixel sends each page visit to Meta. It also sends a copy to a relay server that Meta's own pixel settings choose, run on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud in the United States. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may use its own cookies to link your visit to your account.
Google Analytics 4 uses your IP address to estimate your location and does not store it. Cloudflare, which hosts this site, counts visits without using cookies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will continue to work. You can also stop Google Analytics on every website you visit with Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and control the ads Meta shows you in the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account.
7. Where your information is kept
Your registration is stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare, copied to a Google Sheet, and emailed to the people managing the project. Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia. The country most likely to be involved is the United States, along with other countries where Cloudflare, Google, Meta and Resend run their services.
8. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. Everything you submit is sent over an encrypted connection. We store it with Cloudflare and Google, and access is limited to the people working on the project.
9. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to keep you informed about Southwark Square, or as the law requires. Then we delete it, or remove the details that identify you.
10. Your choices
You can browse this website without telling us who you are. To register your interest we need your name and contact details. You can stop receiving updates at any time.
11. Your rights
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete it, subject to any legal retention we are bound by
